I'm a vegetarian but I haven't been sans-meat long enough to not remember its taste. I read some of the meat substitute recommendations or even the vegan mac and cheese suggestion and have to laugh and think that the people who write these must have never tasted REAL mac and cheese...or if they have, it's been so long they don't remember the taste. Amy's vegan rice macaroni and cheeze tastes NOTHING like the real thing..and in fact, I think it's one of the most disgusting things I've ever tasted. Otherwise this article has some great suggestions.
Just made this. Used honey instead of molasses, added 1/2 c. milled flax and used 50/50 flour. yummm.... I love fresh baked bread almost more than anything.
