fun after a n. colorado spring snow storm
One of the best things about Colorado is the spring snow storms. We usually get at least one big one, sometimes two. The reason they're so great is because it will usually snow about 6+ inches then the next day be sunny and warm. Those six inches will be completely melted within a couple days but in the mean time, we get to enjoy wonderfully sticky snow and sunny warm temps. This snow storm was no exception. We walked a half mile or so to City Park and rolled around in the lovely wet white stuff, had snowball fights and built a snow creature - we called it an alien. Note how the alien apparently had a thing for grabbing my ass and also taught Shayel the proper way to greet an alien - by licking it. Also note the Rocky Mountains in the distance and the broken tree branch (the snow was so wet and heavy it broke big tree branches all over town). Yeah, it's pretty rockin' here.
